Paladin Clinician Recognition – Joeleen Vician
Meet Joeleen Vician, MA, a school counselor with a passion for helping others. Joeleen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Calumet College of St. Joseph and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Purdue University Calumet. Her passion for supporting individuals in overcoming life’s challenges has been a part of her for as long as she can remember.
Joeleen’s motivation is driven by her clients. She says, “As long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed helping others as they deal with life’s difficulties. Everyone struggles with something in life and need others for support. My clients motivate me each day. I look forward to seeing each client and hearing about their day whether they are having a great day or a bad day. Watching my clients grow and succeed in their lives is the best part of my job. I love to see them smile, laugh and feel good about themselves.”
Throughout her career, Joeleen has achieved many accomplishments, including developing and implementing various groups for at-risk students. She has facilitated groups on substance abuse, behavior, and empowering girls.
In her free time, Joeleen enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has four dogs that keep her busy and loves to go camping, shopping, and dining out.
