Program Overview

Paladin Transportation provides reliable rides for qualifying seniors (60+) and La Porte County residents covered by Medicaid. This vital service helps community members get to medical appointments and essential destinations safely and on time.

We are grateful for the partners who help make this possible: REAL Services, the Health Foundation of La Porte, Franciscan Alliance, and The Michigan City Community Enrichment Corporation. We also work with Verida (IHCP broker), Modivcare, and WellsTrans, and LCP and we’re happy to provide reasonable modifications when needed.

Paladin’s Transportation Program is about more than getting someone from one place to another it is about showing up for people when they need it most.

For the individuals and families we serve, each ride means care, connection, and peace of mind. Whether it is a trip to a doctor’s appointment, dialysis or cancer treatment, the grocery store, or day services, this program helps people maintain their independence and stay connected to the support they need.

For many, dependable transportation is not just helpful it is essential. It can mean the difference between isolation and connection, between missing an appointment and receiving critical care. Through every ride, Paladin helps ensure that the people we serve feel supported, valued, and never alone.
