Paladin is pleased to announce the 27th Annual Charter Boat Community Event!
On Friday, August 21, 2026, The Michigan City Charter Boat Association has offered once again to provide boat rides for LaPorte County residents who have a developmental or physical disability. We will have the assistance of the Michigan City firefighters/paramedics and the US Coast Guard to aid those with wheelchairs and individuals that have difficulty ambulating.
If you are interested in participating, you will need to be at the Yacht Basin by 3:00 pm on Friday August 21st. The address is 12 On the Lake, Michigan City, IN. 46360. The boats will be boarding behind the old Michigan City Yacht Club. Food and entertainment will be provided.
RSVPs are required and must be submitted no later than August 14, 2026, at 3:00 pm
You can either email Kim Latchford at Kim.Latchford@Paladin.Care or call
219.874-4288. Providers will need to let us know how many participants and staff they will be sending along with the total number of wheelchairs. Parents and Caregivers must also RSVP.
